Thanks to the brilliant idea of another 101er, I celebrated Monster Day. I ate discounted candy (Sugar Babies) and cookie dough. My monster movie was a Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon (season 1). Not technically a movie, but I think it works, no? I've never seen Buffy before.

I hope your Monster evenings are equally satisfying.

I had a good week. Went to an art gallery reception Friday and went to a movie tonight. Finally saw Marley and Me. I loved the movie, but also found it annoying. TRAIN THAT DOG!.

Anyway, I can't cross anything off yet, but have made lots of progress.:

So, I've injured my back (my knee popped out and I fell).  I can't get out of bed by myself, I've been laid up for over a week without much improvement.  I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday.  Anyway, my infirmity has me so incapitated that my mom has to take care of me.  Its a sad state when she's the healthiest in the house <g>.  So the shoe has been on the other foot.  It has made me much more sympathetic to her.  She's in her glory.  She loves doing for folks.

Well, I've made progress on my reading, anyway.
